Today we will discuss about Top 10 Highest Paid Government jobs in our country which can be applied by anyone i.e. male, female or Other Gender, even a physically disabled person can apply to these jobs except the uniform jobs. Let’s discuss them one by one as per the increasing order of their Salary.
1. SBI PO/ LIC AAO
The post of SBI Probationary Officer i.e., Assistant Manager and LIC Administrative Officer is considered as a high-quality job. Basic Salary of both jobs is around ₹40,000 excluding all allowances and perks. Perks and allowance may vary from place to place.
2. Custom/ Income Tax/ Excise Inspector
The Recruitment of Custom Inspector, Income Tax Inspector, and Excise Inspector are done through SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Exam. This is 4600 Grade Pay i.e. 7th Level job. In government, there are 16 levels of salary in which this job comes under the 7th level. It came under the Pay band of ₹9,300- ₹34,800. If we calculate, its Basic Salary is ₹44,900. Accept this, it also has various types of perks and allowance.
3. Scientist (ISRO/ DRDO/ ETC)
The next job is of Scientist at ISRO, DRDO, etc. It is high-quality jobs with pay-scale around ₹54,000-₹56,000. It only includes the post of Scientist not of Assistant Scientist.
4. State PSC (State Public Service Commissions )
State PSC includes posts like DSP, SDM, SDO, BDO or many other small posts. This is the biggest recruitment done by any State in which it chooses its top level Executives. In this, we are talking about top level post i.e. DSP, SDM and basic salary of this job is around ₹53,100. These jobs offer many facilities i.e. government will provide residence, cook, gardener, car, driver, etc. to the officer.
The Salary of Lecturer or Assistant Professor is ₹60,000. This is a direct recruitment job. This job provides many perks like residence. Although it is direct recruitment, it is very difficult to get this job as it requires a Ph.D., the experience of 8 years to 10 years, as well as many research work, that to be published at various places.
6. SEBI Grade A Officer
The Securities and Exchange Board of India is a very big organization of the Indian Government. It is a regulating authority of stocks and shares. The post of Grade A officer in SEBI is a very powerful job that offers a basic salary of around ₹62,000. It offers around ₹90,000 salary, if HRA is included. It is a very prestigious job equivalent to State PSC.
7. RBI Grade B officer
The RBI (Reserve Bank of India) Grade B officer job is a very prestigious job. Its recruitment is done through the RBI Grade B Exam. The basic salary is around ₹67,000 and if we include HRA, the salary can reach up to ₹93,000-₹94,000.
8. UPSC (Civil Services)
This includes IAS, IES, IFS, Geographical Services, Statistical Services, Economic Services, etc. all class I officer at India level. This provides a basic salary of ₹56,100. Apart from salary, this post offers incomparable facilities like residence, cook, gardener, driver, guard, etc and allowances in cash like entertainment allowance, petrol allowance, etc. If we include all these, the salary reaches up to ₹6Lakhs to ₹7Lakhs.
Some PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) jobs offer a very high salary. Engineers, Chartered Accountant (CA), doctors and Lawyers can apply in PSU. This offers an average salary of around ₹70,000-₹75,000. All these jobs are semi-government and are not less than government jobs.
10. Defence JOBS (NDA/ CDS/ AFCAT etc)
Defence Jobs i.e. jobs in army, air force, navy, etc, are very prestigious. It offers a very high basic salary of around ₹71,600 that includes the basic salary of class I officer i.e. ₹56,100 and Military service pay (MSP) i.e. ₹15,500. Apart from this many allowances are offered, e.g. if you are a pilot in air force you will get flying allowances, or if you’re at good rank, you will get ₹25,000, or if you’re at normal rank, you will get ₹12,000. So, your salary will be ₹ 83,000 as defence personnel in the flying branch. Similarly, in other branches, you will also get an allowance. You will get many other benefits like residence, relaxation in electricity bills, etc. You will also get a uniform maintenance allowance. These allowances are confirmed and independent of the officer’s postings. The best part of this job is the pension. In other jobs, you have to invest money in the National pension scheme to get a pension but in this job you need not spend a single penny on pension.
